Why is the color of the moon red, yellow or orange sometimes?
Moon becomes the color orange in any period of the year and not in the autumn, as some believe, and the reason for this color is light scattering due to the atmosphere and when approaching from the horizon, the light of the moon needs to pass more through the atmosphere than if above us directly because Milan rays and because of the length of this distance the waves of red light and blue and violet disperse and thus remains a color combination of yellow.
