Curiosite continue to search for methane gas on Mars

Scientists said on Friday that the initial analysis of the atmosphere of Mars conducted by Curaossite probe launched by NASA does not indicate any signs of the presence of methane gas, which was spotted earlier by remote sensors.
And resulted in more than 90 percent of the methane in the atmosphere of planet Earth for organisms and increased detected in the atmosphere of Mars for the first time in 2003, hopes of finding microbial life on the planet's surface.

Although methane is not found in the first detailed atmospheric analysis done by the probe, scientists are still working under the auspices of the U.S. space agency to continue the search.
And said Paul Mahave, the world participating in the probe Curaossite the program, told reporters on Friday that "search is still going on."
In addition to the chemical analysis of the soil and rocks Valmspar Curaossite equipped with the possibility of taking samples and study gases in the thin atmosphere of Mars
